Established in 2008, Millenia Chemicals is a manufacturer & distributor of innovative ingredients serving the cosmetic, personal care, flavour & fragrance, neutraceutical & pharmaceutical industries with an extensive distribution network globally. In 2011, our company acquired Qingdao HuaYuan Fine Bio-products Co. LTD from Novozymes manufacturing hyaluronic acid to vertically integrate the company’s value chain. The facility went operational in 2005 with a new and dedicated facility in Qingdao using the latest technology for production of HA that comprises of medical, cosmetic & food grade. HuaYuan was also the first company in China to produce HA by microbial fermentation back in 1993. Our latest investment in HuaYuan is very important for us to continue building a strong platform in the area of biopolymers. The acquisition also provides us with an opportunity to combine optimized production with high-purity products.We aim at becoming a leading HA manufacturer in the international market by establishing a strong branding & providing a one-stop solution for our customers by engaging customers to understand each individual needs.With HuaYuan’s established brand image, we would be able to increase market awareness of our HA products primarily in the cosmetic, medical & food supplement segments & to further enhance our presence in the market,we will also establish sales networks by meticulously evaluating credibility of local distributors and resellers in their respective countries.
